Africa represents 16 percent of the world’s population. Half of these people drink water from unsafe sources. In Sub-Saharan Africa, only 24% of the population has access to safe drinking water. Here, nearly 60% of children between the ages of 15 and 17 are not in school. It is a vicious cycle we are aiming to break.
