Africa’s water crisis is reaching a breaking point. Roughly 330 million people are not using a clean water source and 84% of those people live in rural areas. Imagine having to travel miles by foot to find water, carrying about 40 pounds of water over your heads. Most of the time the water is infected or dirty, and African women and children are forced to drink from unprotected wells, rivers and lakes that make them sick.
Millions of African people are still deprived of the privilege of having access to water in their immediate environment. 663 million people drink dirty water everyday. The wells we provide can serve between 200-800 individuals for several years. There are many regions where the life of people there is very difficult.
